ESPACES IMPREVUS

At the beginning of 2016, I was approached by Judith Nem's, a colleague/friend who lives and works in Paris and Budapest. Through her I was invited by Vértes Gábor, a publisher and art lover from Budapest (HU). His publishing house PAUKER wants to make my work their first publication by a foreign artist. Would I accept their invitation? In 2009, during the financial crisis, Vértes Gábor, together with designer, photographer and good friend Lazlo Lugosi and other artists/art lovers, developed a plan to promote art. This resulted in the first edition of the PAUKER collection in 2011. To date, 26 catalogs have been published by Hungarian artists whom they admire and whose work they consider to be of great value. Number 27 will therefore be the first book by a foreign artist.

The catalog is entitled ESPACES IMPRÉVUS and is published in Hungarian, French and English. Has 64 pages with approximately 55 photos of various works from the period 2006-2016. The texts were written by the French art historian Domitille D'Orgeval, Dutch curator Piet Augustijn and the publisher Vértes Gábor from Hungary.
